Where debate happens around greater Boston
Massachusetts high school speech and debate competes through the Massachusetts Speech and Debate League, and the Boston Debate League runs debate programming inside Boston Public Schools. Harvard's annual tournament brings one of the largest national fields in the country into the area each February, which is part of why the local standard is what it is.
All of that is either high-school-based or school-based. A student at a suburban middle school with no debate program, or a family who wants Lincoln-Douglas specifically rather than the formats their school happens to run, is outside what those routes cover.

Cohort times are fixed once a roster is set, and most land on weekday evenings and weekends because that is what fits around a school day. A locked weekly slot is deliberate: the same six to eight students meeting at the same time all season is what lets a coach write a specific note about your child in week twelve rather than a generic one. Bring your constraints to the call before you enroll.

Podium Debate is non-exclusive, so a student with a school team keeps it. A student whose school runs Public Forum can add Lincoln-Douglas here without leaving that team, and the skills transfer directly between the two. For external tournaments in Massachusetts, we handle selection, preparation, and logistics so the student walks in ready.
