Free account · No card · No call required
Create an account free. Pay only if you decide to.
Most programs in this category make you book a call before they will tell you what anything costs. We would rather just show you. Creating an account takes an email and a password, asks for no payment details, and charges nothing. From there you can see every real price, add your student, and join a plan when and if it makes sense.
What the free account gets you
No card, no trial countdown, nothing that quietly starts billing.
The account itself
Name, email, password. No payment details are requested and no card is stored, because nothing is being charged.
Your student's profile
Add one student or several. Each gets their own record, which is what later attaches their schedule, notes, and level.
Real prices in your dashboard
Plans, hourly rates, and bundle pricing, all visible before you decide anything. Nothing is quote-on-request.
The getting-started walkthrough
A plain explanation of how the program runs, in the order it actually happens, written for a parent who has never seen a debate round.
What actually costs money
Published here rather than behind a form. You can see all of this from inside a free account too.
Core
$165/moThe weekly 90-minute live cohort capped at 6 to 8 students, written progress notes after every session, always-on coach chat, our prep files, and internal practice tournaments. Month to month, cancel anytime, no joining fee. Prepaying lowers it: $640 for a half season, or $1,200 for the full 8 months, which works out to about $150 a month.
1:1 coaching hours
$90/hrBuy hours individually without joining anything. Core members pay about $60/hr, and buying a bundle brings it lower still, down to a floor of $55/hr. You can book a single hour from a free account without ever joining Core.
Custom prep work
QuotedResearch on a specific topic or opponent, requested from your dashboard. Priced per request, since the work varies.
Joining Core also grants a free 0.5-hour block of 1:1 coaching as a joining perk. For the full breakdown, including how our prices compare to other programs with real sourced numbers, see pricing.
Two ways in. Both fine.
MOST DIRECT
Skip the call entirely
Create the account, look at everything yourself, and join a plan or buy an hour when you want to. Nobody will make you sit through a conversation first.
IF YOU WANT ONE
Talk to a coach first
A call for parents, not a class for your student. Useful if you want a read on where your kid would start, or you have questions a page cannot answer.
Questions before you sign up
Is the account actually free, or free-for-now?+
Actually free. There is no trial clock, no card on file, and no charge that starts later. An account exists so you can see real prices and set your student up; it bills nothing on its own, indefinitely.
Do I have to talk to anyone first?+
No. The parent call is genuinely optional and always has been. Create an account, look at the plans, and join Core or buy a single 1:1 hour straight from your dashboard without a conversation. The call exists for parents who want one, not as a gate.
What do I not get without paying?+
The members-only Prep Files Library is the main one: it is visible in your dashboard but locked until a student has an active Core plan, and it is not sold separately. Cohort sessions, progress notes, and coach chat are part of Core rather than the free account.
Does my child need their own login?+
No. One login covers the family, which is deliberate given the students are minors. You add each student to your account, and the parent holds the credentials.
What happens right after I sign up?+
You land on a dashboard with a getting-started walkthrough. Add your student, then choose a plan whenever you are ready. Joining Core also grants a free 0.5-hour block of 1:1 coaching as a joining perk.
Can I cancel at any time?+
Core is billed month to month with no joining fee and no minimum term, so you can stop at the end of a billing month. Our published refund and cancellation terms cover the details, including the 24-hour session cancellation window.
Still deciding whether debate is right for your kid at all? The 60-second readiness assessment is a better first stop than either of these, and it is also free.
Season already underway? Joining mid-season explains how a student gets up to speed. Already enrolled and want to bring a friend? Refer a family and earn a free 1:1 hour.
